January 9th - Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
On January 9th of each year, we call our nation’s citizens to support law enforcement. Those citizens who appreciate law enforcement and are discouraged about the negative attention being given to law enforcement are encouraged to take time on January 9th to show their support.

Week of May 15th - National Police Week
​
In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, DC to participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
September 12 - National Police Woman's Day
This is a day to pay tribute to the brave women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day. Throughout history, female police officers have broken barriers, shattered stereotypes and shown unwavering dedication in their service.
Third Saturday of September- Thank a Police Officer Day
Police officers regularly put themselves in danger to ensure the safety of the communities they service. A small "thank you" can go a long way.
First Thursday of October - Coffee with a Cop Day
The mission of Coffee wth a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve.
